I planted the seed in the beginning of November. This pod showed up near the middle of December. The plant must be able to pollinate itself as it is unlikely there are other such plants growing near by this time of year. I did try to help it along by brushing my finger around the different flowers. This is the only pod that resulted out of three flowers that have grown so far. It appears to only have one fertilized seed.
