Indian River Valley

Notice the prominent shadow of Gavan Hill. You can see that the shadow to the left, especially of the right side of the peak, is noticably less dark than the rest of the shadow. That puzzled me. Gavan hill has two rounded peaks, the taller of the two is casting the shadow at the left, while the one I was on when I took the picture creates the next little bump in the shadow.
