Interested in College in Alaska?

Bonaparte's Gull
Larus philadelphia

This was the first time I had seen this species. There were a few more of them when I arrived, but as I got closer all but the one seen here flew off. If they were concerned about me, they were far more skittish than the other gulls.

Location: Sitka National Historical Park, Sitka, Alaska
