Gulls --(Larus spp.) (61924 bytes)

Interested in College in Alaska?

Larus spp.

The glaucous gull was pulling at the tail feathers of the adult gull (which I believe is probably a Thayer's Gull L. thayeri, though I can't say for sure that it isn't a Herring Gull L. argentatus).

Location: Swan Lake, Sitka, Alaska

Previous: Glaucous Gull (Larus hyperboreus)
