Ring-necked Ducks
Aythya collaris

This species is apparently very wary. I waited for at least a half an hour and the birds never let themselves drift back downstream towards where I was quietly waiting. Eventually I decided to try to work my way up to them. They seemed to know I was coming and I took this photo shortly before they flew off.
