Green Lake

Green Lake is the second of two lakes created by the hydroelectric dams which provide power for the city of Sitka. On the right near the far shore, rearing pens for juvenile king salmon can be seen. These pens allow Medvejie Hatchery to produce many more king salmon than they would otherwise have room for.
