Wildflowers in the Fog
There were many wildflowers in bloom along the slopes above Hell's Canyon on the Oregon side. I am not sure what kind of flowers these were, but as you can see they seem to flourish in this place where not much else is growing (though perhaps more is visible later in the year). You might be able to make out the dark shapes of trees which are not actually all that far away.
