Palouse Wheat Fields

This picture was taken from a dirt road north of the Airport road between Pullman and Moscow. The fields change colors as the grain sprouts, grows larger, and eventually forms heads. Soon the color will change yet again to a golden yellow as the grain becomes ready for harvesting.
