Perched Woodpecker
I think this was probably the same woodpecker I had seen and tried to photograph earlier. Here I was laying down on a gravel bed relaxing and the woodpecker flew up to this perch where it sat for a few seconds. I did not have enough time to get my camera out and take a picture at first, but fortunately it came back and I was ready. Even so, it was little far away for a good picture of the bird without a longer lens.
