Unidentified Scat

My brother and I could not figure out what these droppings were from. They seemed too large for the voles and too small for larger mammals (plus they were located back under a rock outcrop where it would have been difficult for larger mammals to get back into). We speculated that they might be from rats.

Location: Bear Mountain, near Sitka, Alaska
